2005 saturn vue redline11/28/2023 Follow the first line to the right - beyond junction S302 and you'll note power is applied to the upper contacts of the front MAP lights. The line is routed down - through the fuse block - to a junction. Review the diagram - the top dotted box is part of the BCM - look on left lower side of dotted box and note Courtesy Lamps Supply voltage output (C4-A). If they're not working the BCM might be angry about something or there's a loose wire. I'd make sure it does, and if not, the lighting circuits are being powered by some sort of alternate (sneak) circuit.Īssuming the BCM is providing normal power - the MAP lights should light any time either of the fixtures are pressed in. Removal should "kill" all interior lights. There is a 10 amp fuse in the center instrument fuse block providing power to the BCM lighting circuits. Please don't be offended if you know how to read schematics and wiring diagrams.Īccording to the diagram - power for all interior lights originates with the BCM. I've attached an interior lighting schematic from the GM service manual and will try to provide a coherent description. Please help asap since i cant keep disconnecting the battery after every drive. But, before digging into i wanted to get everyones idea on this and what to check.įor ideas on what it could be but, i'm not finding anything or easily. However i recall there being a main harness conenctor that maybe could be the problem possibly located behind the driver side interior panel. I checked all the door switches and they look clean and good. Then todau laura got home and said the hatch done lights wont turn off no matter the position of the center done switch. But, it's a concern not to drain the battery.īasically the last couple of days we noticed the front dome lights wont turn on and the middle dome light is uber dim along with the hatch lights. ![]() Not that i think it has anything to do with it. So a a few weeks back i put a new battery in the vue and all seemed well.
